Bellefontaine Commandery Planning Meeting
Monday, February 25th, all Sir Knights are asked to attend a planning meeting for this year's inspection, to be held April 19th. There will also be a practice of either the full-form opening or the Order of the Temple. All Sir Knights are invited to bring their ladies for a carry-in supper at 6:30, with the Commandery furnishing the meat.

Welcome Three New Mark Masters
Last night the Companions of Lafayette Chapter #60 conferred the honorary degree of Mark Master on two Brother Master Masons, bringing to three the number of new Mark Masters advanced this month. At the annual inspection two weeks ago, Brother Rob Storm participated in the degree work. At last evening's regularly scheduled assembly, Brothers Dave Johnson and Greg Lance were advanced. Brothers Johnson and Lance are members of Mad River Lodge in West Liberty. Congratulations and welcome to these new members! The Chapter will be conferring the rest of the Capitular Degrees on these men in the coming weeks.

Chapter Inspection and Degree Work
Saturday February 9th, Lafayette Chapter #60 Royal Arch Masons completed its annual inspection with flying colors. Most Excellent Grand High Priest Garis E. Pugh welcomed the entire Grand Line and District Deputy corps to Bellefontaine for the event, along with numerous visiting dignitaries, including Most Illustrious Grand Master of Royal & Select Masons Bobby G. Campbell and Eminent Prior Donald Shoemaker of Ohio Priory #18 Knights of the York Cross of Honour. Excellent High Priest Richard Kurtz presided over the full Royal Arch Opening during pre-inspection at the prior regularly stated meeting, and opened a Lodge of Mark Masters for the purpose of inspection on the 9th. David Vassar presided over the degree team as Right Worshipful Master. Companion Andy Vance gave the lecture and charge.Fittingly, the officers and degree team will present the degree again tonight, as two candidates are in waiting to receive the Mark Master Degree. The Chapter will open at 7:30pm, and all Companions are encouraged to attend to assist with or at least enjoy the fine degree work.
